I don't think I will ever get bored with the side braid!! ... or the color palette in these photos... or the fabrics!!! I trimmed my hair so it's long enough to do the side braid but I want it to be about 3 inches longer... I can't wait to start posting outfit posts again... I would have done them sooner, but the cleaning lady at the hotel vacummed up by little chip for my camera.... damn her.. but it was my fault since it was on the ground?? When we fished it out it was in a million different pieces.... *sad face* and for as how it got there i have no idea!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... Finally back in the States. I move into my apartment Tuesday and I'm so excited!! My boyfriend is in the Navy and we had to move out to Virginia Beach from Japan... so I've been crazy busy!! and I was a little bummed since an anonymous posted on my blog that it was practically 'invaluable'.. whatever that is supposed to mean. Anyways back to the Navy stuff.. so we've been out here for a little bit and this place is not really what I expected, but it's growing on me. My father was in the Navy too so the military has been a part of my lifestyle since I was born. My dad even retired from the Navy and he still works on base as a civilian contractor. Anyways I stumbled upon this beautiful jewelry line called Finn Jewelry and one of their collections touched my heart I had to share it with you guys. So here's some background info to help better understand the story....

My boyfriend of two years is in the U.S. Navy. He's stationed over here in Japan. Well he's been on deployment for the past 4 months. They were supposed to come back on October 3, 2009.

On October 1st my best friend and I had a laundry date. So I was waiting for her at the hotel where we were doing our laundry (it's cheaper to rent a room and do laundry there instead of going to a laundromat and feed quarters into the machine). She called me saying she was going to run to the Mini Mart to pick up some stuff and she'd be right over. A tropical storm had just passed where we live so it has been POURING rain non stop all day. Well she sees this guy walking in the rain so she stops him and is wondering why the fuck he's walking in the rain. Turns out it's my boyfriend WALKING IN THE RAIN to my apartment to surprise me. (If he would have walked to my apartment it would have taken him at least thirty minutes to get there from the base). Well anyways, he got back early and never said anything to anyone. Well she tells him that I'm doing my laundry over at the BOQ and she'll drive him over there once she's done at the minimart. Keep in mind it's still pouring outside. He tells her he doesn't want to wait and runs over to where I'm at. He knocks on the door and I look through the peephole but all I see is a shoulder and I'm wondering who the hell is this motherfucker at the door. I open the door and he's smiling at me. His clothes are literally soaking and dripping wet.... and all he says is surprise. Of course after hearing him tell me the whole story my heart just melted a million times over. Geez, I love this man.

So basically this is a copy of a 'Minor Offense Report' that I received a couple weeks ago for wearing what the M.A. (Master at Arms "Military Police") called 'short shorts'. To make a long story short, I live on a miltary base and they enforce a ridiculous Clothing Policy. The M.A. said my shorts were too short and was giving me a ticket since someone warned me the day before about another pair of shorts I was wearing. Well the first day I was wearing A&F denim shorts and the second day I was wearing Nike running shorts. After the rude bitch gave me my ticket and my very own copy of the Clothing Policy I went home to read all 5 pages. After reading it the only thing it says about shorts is that you can't show your underwear or your cheeks. I would never show my underwear in any kind shorts nor would I show my ass cheeks. One, that's fucking gross and Two, my boyfriend would fucking kill me and that is way worse than a ticket from these pseudo-fashion cops. So I called the Police Station to talk to a supervisor about what happened and tried to refute the ticket. She basically patronized me about the whole situation and then told me I was nit-picking the policy before she hung up on me. I filed two complaints and it caught the attention of someone because the Chief of Police called me and wanted to schedule a meeting to talk about what happened. hahha Me: 1 point....Rude Bitches that exploit policies just because they have a weapon and a badge: 0 points... hahaha. There's more to this story but I don't want to bore you guys with details.
